We thought this hotel was in Old Town but it’s just up the street a bit. We parked our car & took their shuttle. Very convenient & we did not have to deal with traffic or parking while we explored Old Town (you can also take the trolley from Old Town to many places in San Diego). Our room was very nice & updated. The beds were very comfortable. We couldn’t figure out how to adjust the thermostat, so we’re cold at one point during the night & didn’t want to call the front desk. The bathroom had a large shower with glass doors—very nice! We were facing the freeway & had a little freeway noise. It might bother some people. If so, ask for a room on the other side, facing the street rather than the freeway. The front desk was friendly & very helpful with recommendations on where to eat nearby. The price was right for our pre-flight stay & 14 days of parking while we are gone. We were very happy with our stay here & would recommend it.
Big, beautiful room, minutes from San Diego’s airport and a 5 minute walk to Little Italy.
