motel accomodations are fine but park'n sail info fradulent. Had to drive to Rodeway Inn many miles away on sailing date and arrive prior to 10:00, or else! Rodeway Inns staff dumb as a rock regarding quality/roadway park'n sail trasition, place and parking situation a mad house. sweated out 12 days of cruise time as to whether our vehicle would be towed away and impounded while at sea due to Rodeway parking signage. fortunately,,,, all came out well in the end,, with the aid of Digel tablets,, and a few hours of "Happy Hour Toddies!
Check in folks were great, room was very clean. Breakfast was very nice. All staff members were very customer focused. We had to extend our stay one night and they were very accommodating.
The hotel is convenient to the airport with shuttle running every half hour 24/7
Great location for cruising out of Port Everglades. Shuttle to ship was efficient. Got off ship early so took a $12.00 taxi.
We did a park and sail for our 10 day cruise. Room, breakfast, and transfers to and from cruise port exceeded expectations. The only difficulty is finding the entrance road and we had GPS.
Excellent hotel and service. Our purpose was to leave the car during our cruise. The hotel is 11 miles, 20 minutes without traffic to the cruiseport which is farther than we expected. It cost us $40 for a cab to return to the hotel after the cruise. Next time I would choose a hotel closer to the cruiseport.
Hotel and parking were good. Clean rooms and very friendly staff. Bistro food was limited but good. We reserved the shuttle to the cruise port. The van arrived 30 minutes late and over an hour late to the port.
Loved the Hyatt Place. It was clean and inviting. Staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was a plus. Location was good with plenty of stores and eatery’s close.
We stayed here as part of a park and cruise package - one night accommodations, delicious breakfast with a variety of options, courteous staff, and transportation to Port Everglades. Rhonda Welch, Assistant General Manager, said she would keep an eye out for our car - no problems. Sonia and Denise are excellent staff. The taxi from Port Everglades was under $29 without tip. The hotel is not as close to the port as other Marriotts but what they offer certainly makes up for that. We have future reservations already made. Thank you everyone for a very pleasant stay.
Room great. Check in mixed. Did not receive paperwork for shuttle. Worst experience was the restaurant - this was just dreadful - wait was undescribable.
The hotel was very nice and convenient to airport. The breakfast was very good too. It was a nice setup that we could stay the night before and then leave our car in parking lot.

This travel package deal is perfect before beginning a cruise. The hotel is very conveniently located a few minutes from Port Everglades. The rooms are appropriate for a short stay, clean & well maintained. A no frills buffet breakfast is included. The check-in process needs streamlining. It is lengthy, waiting on line combined with the actual check-in took nearly an hour. The included 10 days of parking is sufficient for most cruises but you may add days for an additional $10 per day. My experience with the included shuttle service to the port was excellent We had a prompt, friendly and helpful driver both to and from the ship. This was our second experience with Rodeway in Fort Lauderdale and it will likely not be our last.
Overall fine experience. Note: shuttle to the port is free, however purchase is necessary for return trip.
The desk people could not have been nicer. The room was like a small suite . The breakfast was also great. If we travel to the west coast again we will surely use this Residence Inn in Plantation , Fl.
